ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Field & Facility Rodent Control
Last updated: 5th February 2026
We want as many people as possible to be able to use the Field & Facility Rodent Control website. This accessibility statement explains how we aim to make our website accessible, what we’re doing to improve it, and how you can contact us if you have difficulty using the site.
This statement applies to: www.fieldfacilityrodentcontrol.co.uk
1) OUR COMMITMENT
Field & Facility Rodent Control is committed to providing a website that is accessible and usable for the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance.
We aim to follow good practice and align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA wherever reasonably practicable.
2) HOW ACCESSIBLE THIS WEBSITE IS
We have designed the site to be accessible for most users. You should be able to:
• zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
• navigate most of the website using a keyboard
• use the site on mobile, tablet, or desktop devices
• use browser or device settings to increase text size and adjust colour/contrast
• access clear headings and structured content to support screen readers
We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process, and we continue to improve the site as it develops.
3) ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES WE AIM TO PROVIDE
We aim to support accessibility through:
• clear, consistent page structure and heading hierarchy
• meaningful link text (avoiding “click here” where possible)
• readable font sizes and spacing
• colour contrast designed for clarity
• alternative text for informative images where appropriate
• form labels and error prompts that help users complete enquiries
• responsive layouts to support different screen sizes
• avoiding flashing/rapidly moving content
Where appropriate, we also aim to provide “plain English” content to improve clarity.
4) KNOWN LIMITATIONS (NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT)
We are actively working to reduce barriers. At present, some parts of the site may not be fully accessible, for example:
• Third-party content: embedded maps (e.g., Google Maps), video players, social media feeds, or booking/contact widgets may not fully meet accessibility standards because we do not control their design.
• PDFs or downloaded documents (if used): older PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
• Images: while we aim to provide alternative text, some decorative images may not have it, and some newly added images may take time to be updated.
If you encounter an issue, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
5) FEEDBACK AND CONTACT INFORMATION
If you need information on this website in a different format (for example, accessible PDF, large print, or plain text), or if you find any accessibility barriers, please contact us:
Email: enq@fieldfacilityrodentcontrol.co.uk
We aim to respond within 10 working days.
6) WHAT TO DO IF YOU CAN’T ACCESS PART OF THIS WEBSITE
If you can’t access information on our website, we can:
• provide the information by email in a more accessible format
• talk you through the information by phone
• provide a text-only version of key details on request
7) TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THIS WEBSITE’S ACCESSIBILITY
We aim for this website to conform, where reasonably practicable, with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
We test the site periodically and as new pages are added. Our approach includes:
• basic checks using browser accessibility tools
• keyboard navigation checks
• review of contrast and readability
